I graduated from Lambuth University with a B.S. Degree in Health and Physical Education. Played baseball for 4 years while attending Lambuth. Received a Masters of Education (MEd), with an emphasis in physical education, from Union University.


This is my 34 th year in education. I started my career at Episcopal Day School, now know as USJ, in 1983. In 1987, I moved to the Milan Special School District, where I am presently employed.

I also am a adjunct professor in the pyhsical education department at Bethel University, teaching a night classes.


I have been married for 26 years to the former Beth Ayers, a graduate of Milan High School. She is employed by the Jackson Clinic in the radiology department as a MRI tech.

My son Taylor, is a 2015 graduate of Bethel University with a education degree. While attending Bethel, he was a 3 year starter for the Wildcat Baseball team as a outfielder. He is currently working at Milan High School and is the assistant baseball coach at MHS.

My daughter Molly, is a senior at Bethel University. She is majoring athletic training. Molly will be working with the wildcat football team as a student athletic trainer, as well as the women's soccer and softball teams.

I have coach baseball and football while at Milan, recently "retiring " from the coaching ranks.
